Paul Proclaims That John Announced The Coming of The Davidic Savior, Jesus

¹⁶ And Paul, having stood up, and having motioned with his hand, said “Men, Israelites, and the ones fearing God: listen. ¹⁷ The God of this people Israel chose our fathers. And He lifted-up the people during the stay in the land of Egypt, and with an uplifted arm led them out of it. ¹⁸ And for about a forty year period He put-up-with^[a] them in the wilderness.
